Zelenskyy extends martial law and mobilization of persons liable for military service

The President of Ukraine signed two laws at once

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed laws No. 10457 and 10456, which extended martial law on the territory of Ukraine until May 13, 2024, as well as general mobilization for the same period.

This was announced from the law cards published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

"Returned with the signature of the President of Ukraine", - the cards of both laws say.

After signing, the document also moved to the stage of "sending the act."

Since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, this is the tenth extension of martial law and general mobilization.

We will remind, on February 8, Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Valerii Zaluzhnyi and appointed a new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
