"We want to hold the second Peace Summit before the end of the year. The process should not be delayed. Ukraine, more than anyone, wants peace as soon as possible. But we definitely do not want peace on the basis of the so-called Russian recognition of reality", he said.

At the same time, Zhovkva noted that the timing of the second Peace Summit will also be influenced by the "intensity of work in the thematic groups" developing some points of the "peace formula", apart from the U.S. elections.

"You heard the president, who said that the second Peace Summit will not be in years, but in months. This is the attitude of Ukraine", he emphasized.

The deputy head of the OP also pointed out that the state already has "an understanding of such potential countries" where the second Peace Summit will be held.

"We have a number of countries, and I can say with a high degree of probability that such a summit could be held in one of the countries of the Global South. And that would be logical, because the first Summit was held in a European state, in neutral Switzerland. Now, according to the logic of events, this Summit should be held in one of the countries of the Global South. What country it will be, we will see. This is a living process", Zhovkva noted.
  • June 20, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that the second Global Peace Summit could be held in one of the countries of the Global South.
