Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia are without power due to regional outages

Social media reports that Montenegro is without electricity in all but the northern part of the country. Montenegrin power grid operator CEDIS notes that this was due to a loss of voltage as a result of failures on a regional scale. The cause of this situation is still unknown.

In Croatia, there is no light on a number of Croatian islands and cities on the Adriatic coast, notably Dubrovnik and Split. According to insider information from the Croatian power system operator, the problem started in Montenegro and then spread to two other states.

Klix.ba writes that in Bosnia and Herzegovina, there is no power supply in most of the country, including Sarajevo. The system operator has not yet commented on the matter.

Earlier, on June 19, there was a power outage across Ecuador due to problems with power lines.
