Ukraine is receiving signals from States that did not participate in the Peace Summit and those that were in Switzerland but did not support the outcome document about their intentions to join the communiqué

He said that each country has its own internal procedures for joining the documents.

"Each participating country, or among those countries that did not make it for one reason or another, has its own internal procedures for joining certain documents. So we have signals", Tochitsky emphasized.

The deputy head of the OP added that "someone has to go through additional internal procedures, for example, to agree on the final text of the document, someone says they are working on joining (the communiqué, — ed.)".

"Russia's violation of the fundamental principles of international law and the UN Charter is a threat to the whole world. Therefore, we hope that there will be more countries, nations and politicians advocating peace", he emphasized.
  • After the second plenary session of the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland on June 16, a joint communiqué signed by  78 participating countries and 4 international organizations.
  • On June 19, the final communiqué of the Global Peace Summit joined  the first country that did not participate in the meeting. This is Antigua and Barbuda.
