The AFU captured a Russian "turtle tank" and took the crew prisoner for the first time
On the Kramatorsk direction near Klishchiivka, the AFU for the first time captured a Russian "turtle tank" and also took its crew prisoner
"On the Kramatorsk direction near Kleshcheyevka, soldiers of the 22nd separate mechanized brigade captured a Russian "turtle tank" and also took its crew prisoner. It should be noted that this is the first known such case", the press service said.
It is noted that thanks to a unit of unmanned systems, an enemy tank was detected near the village of Klishchiivka. The AFU applied Basic hardware and software system to the tank, from which the discharges were carried out. "The hit tank and disoriented enemy crew, trying to escape, lost any opportunity to find the right direction to return to their positions. Thanks to the artillery of the brigade, the tank was stopped at one of the lines and already infantrymen from the mechanized battalion captured the crew along with the tank. During negotiations with the crew, the mechanized driver hid inside with a grenade and tried to blow up the tank. But our infantrymen found strong arguments to convince him that it was better to live than to die", the military said.
