One third of Russia's Black Sea Fleet is out of service — Navy speaker
The speaker of the AFU Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, said that the Ukrainian military had already managed to disable a third of the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet
According to espreso.tv
According to the speaker of the Navy, Ukraine officially destroyed and damaged 28 enemy ships and missile carriers.
"They had more than 10 more units under repair. But many of the ships they now have in service were also taking damage. For example, both the frigates Admiral Essen, and the Admiral Makarov. A significant portion of the enemy's ships have already become familiar with both drones and missiles. And some of them have already been repaired", Pletenchuk said.
He added that some of the enemy ships are still undergoing repairs, and some will be there for a long time due to serious damage
"You know how an interesting thing happened with the big landing ships? We waited until they had them fixed up and then we hit them after that. And it was super difficult to repair them, because it's a 775 project, they're Polish-made. And the Poles, of course, refuse to service them. And they tried to buy some parts, substitutes, to circumvent the sanctions. So I don't think they will be in a hurry to repair these LSDs now", the speaker suggests.
According to him, the 28 destroyed Russian ships also included some units like boats — the Russian Federation has about 15 of them.
"Starting with the flagship and ending with four large landing ships of the second rank. The only one of first rank was the cruiser Moskva. It is also the submarine Rostov-on-Don, Kotov, Ivanovets, Vasily Bech and others", Pletenchuk said.
- It was recently reported that Russian Federation started using submarines to patrol in the Black Sea after its ships were hit.
