The son of US chief executive Hunter Biden has been found guilty by a court of three charges of illegal gun possession. Joe Biden said he would not sign a presidential pardon for him

The US president was asked if he thought his son was given a fair chance during his court case. He had previously said he would accept the outcome and respect the judicial process.
"I'm very proud of my son, he has overcome drug addiction. He is one of the most honorable people I know. I am satisfied and will not react in any way to the various decisions of the judicial branch. And I will not sign a presidential pardon for him", Biden said.
- In May 2020, Kiev's Pechersky Court ordered the Office of the Prosecutor General to prosecute Biden for allegedly interfering with former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who claimed the latter had demanded his dismissal, over an investigation into corruption at Burisma Holdings, where Biden's son worked.
