In early June, Ukrenergo announced a tender for the purchase of air conditioners for UAH 629,000, but it will be canceled due to power supply restrictions

The company's press service said.

"Today the tender for the purchase of air conditioning systems will be canceled. The cancellation procedure according to the law has already been started by our procurement department", Ukrenergo said.

They noted that the tender published on Prozorro to replace split systems, which are 16 and 13 years old, the company's service departments began preparing in early 2024, when the energy system fully covered the needs of consumers.

"We buy everything in strict accordance with the law and transparency rules, so the preparation of procedures takes time. The announcement of this tender, unfortunately, coincided with forced power supply restrictions as a result of russian shelling", Ukrenergo said.

The company added that "to avoid manipulation" the tender will be canceled and will resume when all the outages are canceled.

In early June, after the energy shortage increased, Ukrenergo announced a tender for the purchase of air conditioners with an expected cost of UAH 629,000.
