Over the past 105 years, Ukraine has been divided by several empires, occupied under the slogan "Soviet man", disfigured by three Holodomors, shoot the intelligentsia of the 60s, and then occupy it again: first Crimea, then Donbas, Kherson, certain districts of Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions.

22 January 1919 in Ukraine was celebrate The Day of Unity of Ukraine. On this day, 105 years ago, one of the most important events in our history took place  the proclamation of the Unification Act, which united Ukrainians on both sides of the Dnipro into a single independent Ukrainian People's Republic.

For decades, the Soviet authorities hushed up this fact, rewrote and distorted history in order to appropriate the connection between eastern and western Ukraine, to play on the idea of federalization and division of our country into parts.

But this time the occupiers lost, because no matter what anyone says, Ukrainians learn or history does teach Ukrainians  it's up to you to decide. Today, no kremlin's fakes and outright lies cannot separate us.

On February 24, 2022, we once again showed the world that in unity  our power. The Ukrainian people have learned the lessons of the Soviet occupation and do not hesitate to resist the large-scale aggression of moscowland.

I met the war in the capital. I saw an armored personnel carrier captured by enemy saboteurs rushing past the street where I lived at the time, and I remember the conversations of friends and acquaintances in those first days of the full-scale invasion. None of them even thought of leaving Kyiv. The dialogues went something like this: "F*ck them, not Kyiv". And so it happened. Аnd then came the time for "F*ck you, not Irpin, Konotop, Kherson, Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions" and all the rest. Soon the time will come for Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk.

It can be argued that 105 years ago we"lost" the opportunity to unite, or we can simply draw conclusions and learn from our mistakes, which we did with the first days war, meeting enemy columns with yellow and blue flags and stopped rashist tanks with our bare hands.

moscow occupiers have forgotten that Ukrainians are a nation of free people for whom freedom, dignity and honor are the greatest values." And this time we will not make mistakes we will not repeat them  you got in the wrong generation."

Congratulations on the 105th anniversary of the Unity of our United Independent Ukraine!
