Anton Hrushetsky, executive director of KMIS, said this on the air of the Espresso TV channel.
"Now, however, the majority of Ukrainians trust the president of Ukraine and consider him legitimate. We continue to publish results that show that trust in the president has gotten a little bit lower over the last few months. But people are still less focused on Zelenskyy himself, however, saying it's worth cleaning up his team, rethinking "who you're working with". If that doesn't change in the coming months, it will affect the president himself. This will create many opportunities for Ukraine's enemies to speculate about the legitimacy of the Ukrainian government", he said.
People initially criticize not the president himself, but his entourage, which is typical for all Ukrainian presidents, Hrushetsky said.
"Later, the negativity is transferred from the entourage to the president himself. In the case of Zelenskyy, the same was true until February 24, 2022. From the beginning of 2019, trust in his entourage decreased, while trust in him held. Subsequently, people started criticizing the president himself more and before the full-scale invasion, the majority no longer trusted the president. After the invasion, the level of trust increased dramatically. It held high until the end of December 2023. But still the criticism of corrupt issues and incompetent decisions made itself felt. At first people criticized the entourage, and later more the president", explained the executive director of KMIS.
We would like to remind you that according to the KMIS poll, half of the Ukrainians surveyed think that Zelenskyy did not fulfill his election promises.
