In Ukraine, residents of three regions who spread Kremlin narratives on social media, praised Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and justified Russian army crimes in Bucha received prison sentences

The attackers in particular popularized the Russian gauleiters who impose the Moscow regime in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, praised Putin and heroized the occupier's military army and justified their war crimes.
The men created profiles on YouTube and social media to disseminate the narratives.
One of the three men was convicted in Mykolayiv region: he worked as a school teacher of computer science and disseminated Kremlin narratives from his work computer. On it, the attacker created an account in Odnoklassniki, from which he called for the seizure of all of Ukraine and popularized Gauleiter Saldo.
In Cherkassy, an administrator of a network of channels and communities on YouTube, Telegram and Facebook was convicted. He called for the seizure of state power, and described the killing and torture of civilians in Bucha by Russians as a "staged production".
An attacker in Prykarpattia who distributed videos of support for the head of the Kremlin and the Wagner members also received a prison sentence. The local resident took the pro-Russian content on thematic TikTok pages and then reposted it through his own social media accounts.
"According to the SBU, the court found the attackers guilty under: part 2 of article 109 (public calls to seize state power); part 2 of article 436-2 (acquittal). 2 Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition of lawfulness, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine). They have been given a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison for these crimes", the SBU summarized.
