It is indicated that the agreements concluded by the procurement agency of the Ministry of Defense "State Logistics Operator" cover the need until the end of 2024. More than 90% of the uniforms have already been delivered to military units.

"We must guarantee equal opportunities for all those who defend our land. That is why the purchase of women's military uniforms is an important step to create comfortable conditions for our defenders. These purchases are about respect for equality and justice in the ranks of the Armed Forces", said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.

It is noted that women's uniforms differ from men's uniforms in shape and complexity of cut. It consists of three elements: a jacket, trousers and two armbands with national symbols, and is presented in a wide range of sizes — from 40 to 64 and is designed for heights from 146 to 188 cm. It is indicated that in addition to field suits, women's underwear was also purchased.

"The issue of equal provision for women and men in the army has long been hotly debated in society. Volunteer organizations and charitable foundations have also taken the initiative, and we are grateful to them for that. The need to purchase a specific category of goods is received from the Ministry of Defense, and for our part, we take responsibility for the quality of procurement and logistics processes so that women in the Armed Forces receive the necessary material support on time and in full", said Victoria Vinogradova, Director of Procurement Management at the State Logistics Enterprise.
