Volyn OVA
Starting May 27, two fewer municipal buses will be running on city routes in Mykolaiv than usual. The problem arose due to the mobilization of drivers

"That is, the buses will be standing, but there is no one to drive them", the mayor says.

On the morning of May 21, 39 trolleybuses, 27 trams, and 22 buses went on the routes. According to him, Mykolaiv has additional vehicles, but there are no people on them.

"Women drivers are happy to work on the tram, but somewhat cautiously — on trolleybuses and do not want to work on buses. Although, to be honest, I don't understand the difference between a trolleybus and a bus. Even in a trolleybus it is harder to work than in a bus, because it is tied to a contact network", the mayor said.
  • Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov said that fair booking is necessary, as the city will soon lack workers in critical infrastructure due to mobilization.
