"It is impossible to establish the cause of the conflict between a man in military uniform and a civilian from the video. The circumstances and participants in the situation are being clarified. An internal investigation has been initiated. The position of the management of the Odesa Regional TCR and SS is unchanged — any manifestations of violence are unacceptable. Based on the results of the official inspection, all actions and participants will be given a legal assessment", the statement said.
The Odessa-based Dumskaya news and analysis website reported earlier that a conflict arose between a man in military uniform and a civilian man on route No. 232. The video of the incident shows the civilian being dragged off the bus by force.
- On the evening of May 13, a 19-year-old resident of Odesa stated that she had been beaten with a crutch by a man in military uniform, who had previously introduced himself as an employee of the local territorial recruitment center (TCR). The prosecutor's office opened criminal proceedings.
