Almost 1.7 thousand civilian Ukrainians are being held in Russian prisons — Lubinets

According to official data, almost 1,700 Ukrainian civilians are being held in detention in Russia, 900 of which have been confirmed by the International Committee of the Red Cross

"The meeting discussed that according to official data, almost 1700 civilians are held in Russian detention facilities, of which almost 900 are confirmed by the ICRC. However, about 14,000 civilians are officially registered as missing", Lubinets wrote.

At the same time, it is noted that the representative on human rights in the security and defense sector, Oleksandr Kononenko, described the blocks and subgroups of the Working Group during the meeting, and also called on its participants to cooperate effectively.

  • On May 8, Dmytro Lubinets transmitted  to the President of the International Federation of the Red Cross Kate Forbes documents that testify to violations of the Russian Red Cross.
