Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov believes that the Peace Summit in Switzerland on the end of the war in Ukraine will not have any results without Russia's participation

This was reported by espreso.tv

"Without Russia, it is absolutely useless to discuss security issues that concern us", Peskov said.

At the same time, he suggested that the summit would be "empty scholasticism without the prospect of getting at least some significant result".

Russia has previously said that it sees no point in a conference planned by Switzerland to discuss ways to end the conflict in Ukraine, to which Moscow has not yet been invited.

  • 50 countries have confirmed their participation in the peace summit on Ukraine, which will take place on June 15-16 in Switzerland.
