How Two Collaborators Provided Targeting Data for russian Missile Strikes

A Kyiv resident recruited by the FSB was sentenced to 15 years in prison because he planned air strikes on the capital and adjusted them to the positions of the Armed Forces and the National Guard. The traitor was helped to collect the necessary data by an acquaintance under the pseudonym "Narik".

According to the Security Service of Ukraine's press service.

According to the investigation, a 46-year-old Kyiv resident was remotely recruited by an FSB officer in rostov region in August 2022.

"The russian agent recruited his friend, a 39-year-old resident of the capital, who was hiding under the pseudonym "Narik", in subversive activities", - the statement said.

It was Narik who drove around the streets of the city and conducted covert photography and video recording of Ukrainian objects.

"Narik transferred the received files to an enemy agent, who then "reported" to his russian curator via messenger. For cooperation with the occupiers, the traitor received a monetary reward on his own bank card", - the SBU said.

The agency clarified that they arrested the collaborators back in September 2022, because among the priority targets recorded by the traitors were possible locations of the Armed Forces and the National Guard in the city.

In addition, the occupiers were interested in the technical condition of the capital's energy facilities, in particular thermal power plants, on which the aggressor planned to adjust missile or drone attacks.

"Based on the SBU materials, the court sentenced him to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property. His accomplice was sentenced to 8 years in prison in October this year", - the SBU emphasized.
