Three basic things are not spelled out in the law on mobilization, — MP Synyutka
MP Oleh Synyutka says the law on mobilization does not motivate people
He said this on the air of the Espresso TV channel.
"The draft law on mobilization does not motivate people. Because three basic things are not spelled out. The first is a clearly regulated term of service, the second is justice for all citizens. That is, the same approach regardless of property, positions and other factors. The third is the social protection of servicemen and their families", explained Synyutka.
The MP also added that today, on May 10, during an hour of questions to the government, deputies of the European Solidarity faction raised the issue of additional payments of UAH 70 thousand to those military personnel who perform combat missions on the front line.
"There was a response from the government that everything would be paid. Such payments were supposed to be made on April 1, today is May 10. I hope that the words of the government will not be at odds with the deeds", Synyutka emphasized.
- The Land Forces Command has decided to create a recruiting center: the primary task is to equip units with unmanned systems.
- The Slovak Border Guard Service said that the number of Ukrainian men of military age illegally crossing the border more than doubled in the year before the new law on mobilization came into effect in Ukraine.
