Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi hinted that Ukraine will not be able to defend and recapture Avdiivka at the moment. It is more important to save the lives of Ukrainian servicemen.
About this Zaluzhnyi said at a closed press briefing commenting on the situation around Avdiivka.
"Every piece of land is precious to us, we will defend (Avdiivka - Ed.) as long as we have the strength. If we don't have enough forces, we will save people and then recapture it", - Zaluzhnyi said.
He also clarified that the enemy has the ability to concentrate its forces in a certain direction. And they can do what happened to Bakhmut in two or three months.
