Polish social networks are outraged by the sweatshirt of Jerry Heil, a representative of Ukraine at Eurovision 2024, with the inscription Banderaciaga, the singer is accused of supporting the "genocide of Poles"

This was reported by espreso.tv

Polish users of social network X are actively sharing and discussing a video in which one of the representatives of Ukraine at the Jerry Heil song contest sings the song Teresa & Maria in a sweatshirt with the words Banderaciaga. Banderaciaga plays on the combination of the name of the 20th century Ukrainian independence fighter, OUN leader Stepan Bandera, and the fashion house Balenciaga.

Polish people, who consider Bandera a fascist guilty of committing genocide against the Polish people, are outraged by this video and call for not giving any votes to the representatives of Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest.

The appearance of Jerry Heil in a sweatshirt is called "advertising of the criminal Bandera" and also emphasizes the "cult of Bandera in Ukraine".
