Petro Andryushchenko announced the almost completed construction of a railroad that will connect Mariupol with Rostov-on-Don via Volnovakha

The advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andryushchenko, told Espresso TV that the railway connecting Volnovakha with Rostov-on-Don via Mariupol should be launched in late May or early June.

"In April and early May, three test trains were recorded from Volnovakha to Mariupol to the port and back. From Volnovakha, they arrived slightly loaded not with military supplies, but with kaolinite and ore, which is being loaded onto a Liberian ship that was stolen last year. And the train left the Mariupol port empty to test the track", noted Andryushchenko.

According to the advisor, the track that russians are building near the village of Hranitne through Telmanivskyi district, which will connect Mariupol with Volnovakha and Rostov-on-Don, is almost complete.

"But there are no rails on the bridges or at the junction of the railways yet, they are only laying them. According to our estimates, this railroad will start working approximately in late May, early June", Andriushchenko noted.

The Atesh guerrilla movement records the constant movement of military equipment by russian invaders in the temporarily occupied Mariupol. One of the reasons is ATACMS strikes.
