Ukraine's President Sanctions 140 Companies and Citizens from Four Countries

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree imposing sanctions on 140 companies. In a separate decree, he sanctioned 51 individuals.

Most of the sanctions were imposed against companies from the territory of the Russian Federation, but there are companies based in the Crimea, Ukraine's territory temporarily annexed by Russia, in particular, Avtodel GAZ LLC.

In addition, the head of state imposed sanctions on 51 people from 4 countries. Most of them are Russian citizens, but the list also includes people with citizenship of Ukraine, Latvia and Cyprus.

The sanctioned persons have all their assets blocked in Ukraine, are prohibited from conducting any trade operations, as well as transit of goods and resources through the territory of our country. In addition, all of the above-mentioned persons have their licenses canceled or revoked.

Recall that US President Joe Biden signed a decree on sanctions against banks around the world. We are talking about those that finance the supply of goods to the Russian army.
