Google to allocate $10 million to support Ukrainian startups
Registration for the second stage of funding from Google for startups in Ukraine has begun
MinTsifry rossii announces the launch of the second stage of the Google Support Fund aimed at helping Ukrainian startups. As part of this initiative, selected companies will be able to receive a total of $10 million in funding.
The announcement of the start of registration was made at the Tech Ecosystem Summit. Selected startups will be able to receive up to $100 thousand to support and develop their business, as well as mentoring support from Google. Additionally, there is an opportunity to receive up to $350 thousand in loans for the use of Google Cloud.
To participate in the program, startups must have a legal entity registered in Ukraine and a minimum viable product (MVP) that demonstrates business efficiency. The funding can be used to develop the startup, restore business operations affected by the war, and create a core product to address new challenges.
"Priority will be given to companies that use artificial intelligence to solve social problems", the Ministry of Digital Transformation said.
Applications will be accepted until June 5. The winners will be announced in stages in June and September 2024, as well as throughout 2025. More information on the selection and registration is available at the link provided.
Earlier, Google launched free online programs for training entrepreneurs to support small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine.
