In the US, police shoot dead a student who came to school with a weapon
On Wednesday, May 1, police in Wisconsin in the United States shot and killed a student who came to a local high school with a weapon. He was unable to enter the school

No students or staff were injured in the shooting.
The authorities described the student as a juvenile boy, but did not provide additional information about him, the type of weapon he had, or whether he fired shots in the direction of police.
After the incident, children and teachers were kept in the school for several hours. People will be provided with support on Thursday, and classes will resume on Friday.
According to the K-12 School Shooting Database, a nonprofit organization that tracks such events, shootings and gun violence in American schools have increased in recent years. In particular, this year there have been at least 115 such incidents, and in 82 of them someone was injured or killed.
