With the help of Oschadbank, Ukrainian entrepreneurs can receive a grant of up to $15 thousand
Oschad became a partner of the "CREATE!" grant program, which provides individual grants to women entrepreneurs in the field of production in the amount of up to USD 15 thousand. These funds can be spent on the purchase of equipment and partially (no more than 30% of the grant amount) on software and training.
Women who are registered as individual entrepreneurs (IE) in accordance with the current legislation or are co-owners of limited liability companies (LLC) with a share of participation of more than 50% can participate in the program. Funds are available to operating businesses that have been in operation for at least one year at the time of application. Entrepreneurs who have debts to the budget, operate in the temporarily occupied territories, as well as those who have a court decision to bring them to criminal liability for corruption, bankruptcy cases or termination of business activities will not be allowed to participate in the program.
Cooperation with international funds is a strategic goal of Oschadbank according to the strategy of development of the MSME direction, approved by the Supervisory Board.
The "CREATE!" grant program was launched by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. It is being implemented by the KSE Foundation in partnership with Oschadbank. The total budget of the program is USD 1 million. The funds for the "CREATE!" grant program are an investment of WNISEF, which supports reform initiatives in Ukraine and transformational projects.
The program is an important element of the government's Made in Ukraine policy, as well as the state strategy for ensuring gender equality in the country. It is aimed at developing and scaling up national production and increasing the business activity of Ukrainian women.
Oschadbank is actively involved in the project. Today, it is the only partner bank whose mission is – opening an account and cash transactions using grant funds, checking the business reputation of grantees and controlling the intended use of funds.
"Mined fields and destroyed greenhouses, burned warehouses and destroyed production facilities, looted small and large enterprises – all these challenges are faced by strong and indomitable Ukrainian entrepreneurs every day. Through the new grant program "CREATE!" and other similar programs that Oschad has in its arsenal, we want to support our women who continue to work, develop their own businesses, and create jobs to restore the economy in wartime. I am confident that the program "CREATE!"program will eventually turn into dozens of successful stories of Ukrainian businesswomen who will get a chance to ensure the economic stability of their families and the country as a whole", said Natalia Butkova-Vitvitska, Oschadbank Board Member in charge of MSMEs.
