Olexander Chemerov, co-founder of the Cultural Landing, an association of artists that performs for Ukrainian defenders on the front line, believes that the real stars are now the military, not artists. He shared that, in his opinion, musicians and singers are now coming to the military as artists.
The Cultural Landing currently has about 200 regular participants. In addition to them, guest artists also join. Chemerov said that Svetlana Loboda and rapper Potap wanted to join them.
"That's very funny: Loboda and Potap were asked. We didn't take them because there is no point in taking such artists anymore because they are not sincere and their desire to go there is just to adapt to the situation and continue to earn their money in this field", Chemerov said.
The singer explained why he doesn't believe the artists. In his opinion, they have made mistakes more than once, so they are unlikely to change their position now.
"When a person makes a mistake once, it's okay. If the second time, then okay. From the third time, you can already describe this person. That's why I look rather from this side. If a person doesn't understand and makes the same mistake 30 times, then perhaps we should stop thinking that this person is sincere", Chemerov added.
The rock musician also shared his thoughts on the return of Potap and Loboda to the "first tier" of artists. He is convinced that celebrities should rethink and change their work.
