More than 2500 casino and gambling websites blocked in Ukraine
Cyber experts, on the recommendation of law enforcement, have already blocked more than 2500 websites that hosted gambling or online casino resources without a license

It is noted that as of April 2024, more than 450 criminal offenses are being investigated on the facts of illegal gambling organization. Twenty-one people have already been notified of suspicion.
Indictments against 72 suspects have been sent to court, including 7 indictments against 68 members of criminal groups.
In 2023, 169 offenses of this category were registered, and 74 people were notified of suspicion. At that time, 52 indictments against 97 people were sent to court. More than 7,000 pieces of computer and other equipment were seized, about 500 searches and 700 address inspections were conducted.
In addition, 10 casinos were shut down. 10 indictments against 42 people who are members of criminal groups have been sent to court. Currently, proceedings have been opened against a number of large companies involved in the organization and operation of illegal online casinos. In particular, an investigation is ongoing into the legalization of funds from illegal online gambling in the amount of UAH 4.8 billion.
A pre-trial investigation is also underway against a sanctioned company that, under the control of russian entities and citizens, organized and conducted illegal betting activities based on the resources of an international bookmaker.
