On April 26, police and the Security Service of Ukraine conducted searches at the critical infrastructure enterprise Kyivteploenergo. The company stated that its employees were blocked in the buildings and could not fully perform their direct work

It is noted that the searches are related to the ruling of the Pechersk court in the case of the purchase of spare parts important for the company's work, which was allegedly carried out with violations.
"As a result of the actions of law enforcement officers, the company's employees, on whom the work of critical facilities in the capital depends, were blocked in the buildings and cannot fully perform their direct work", the company said.
Power engineers say that "constant searches, especially with procedural violations, pose a threat of disruption of technological processes of electricity and heat generation".
According to them, interference in the management of critical facilities in the capital and blocking the work of personnel can lead to disruption of the operation of the heat and power infrastructure of Kyiv and affect the process of providing services to Kyiv residents.
"In addition, it negatively affects employees, most of whom work in dangerous conditions, because the enemy does not stop attacking the capital's energy facilities", Kyivteploenergo added.
The company emphasized that it is ready to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and provide all the necessary information, but called on them to act in accordance with the law and the conditions of martial law and prevent interruptions in the operation of critical infrastructure.
