"Men aged 18 to 60 will be able to obtain passport documents exclusively in the SMS bodies on the territory of Ukraine, documents will not be sent to foreign branches of the State Enterprise 'Document'", the statement said.

At the same time, it will still be possible to obtain passports abroad:

• persons with disabilities;
• guardians of persons with disabilities; parents of children with disabilities;
• persons in need of constant care;
• persons accompanying seriously ill children;
• persons from the Defense and Security Forces;
• victims of the military aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine who went abroad for treatment.

People who applied for documents before April 25, 2024, will be able to receive them in the manner in force before the entry into force of the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, after the elimination of technical problems.

• The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at a meeting on April 11 adopted the draft law on mobilization as a whole. On April 16, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the law on mobilization, and on April 17, the document was published in the official parliamentary publication "Voice of Ukraine"
• According to the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution, men of military age will now be able to obtain foreign passports and citizen's passports only on the territory of Ukraine in a territorial body or subdivision of the State Customs Service.
• On April 25, Defense Ministry spokesman Dmytro Lazutkin said that Ukraine is working to ensure that citizens can update their military registration data at consular offices.
• On April 26, Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Presidential Administration, said that men of military age who are abroad will be able to issue documents only on the territory of Ukraine.
