He said about it on Telegram.

The President of Ukraine noted that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported on the situation at the front at the Stavka. He noted that the russians have a task to demonstrate "victories" by May 9.

"The occupation army has a task to demonstrate at least some victories by May 9, regardless of its own losses. Now they are also being pushed by positive decisions of friends of Ukraine. It's hard for our soldiers, but the arrival of the necessary assistance will level the situation. That is why we urgently need support with specific weapons that our partners have", Zelenskyy wrote.

Own weapons production was also one of the topics discussed.

"Report of Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on contracts with domestic companies. We are working on a new format of agreements, which, on the one hand, will not overburden the military budget, and on the other hand, will guarantee manufacturers long-term obligations of the state", the statement said.

Zelenskyy also ordered to prepare a comprehensive plan to protect civilian infrastructure from russian attacks.

"For the next meeting, I instructed to collect everything that our intelligence knows about the intentions of russian terrorists to destroy civilian infrastructure and prepare a comprehensive plan of further actions: strengthening physical protection where it works, redistributing air defense systems and decentralization where possible", he said.
