The German Chancellor said that NATO partners could supply six Patriot systems to Ukraine, in addition to the one already transferred by Germany.
"We have already provided two systems, now we have delivered the third, and we are the country that makes the most significant contribution to this matter. The last, third system that we have announced, which will be transferred to Ukraine and will be used there, is also our call to other countries to make similar decisions", Scholz said.
According to the chancellor, the Alliance has made it clear that systems available in NATO countries can be transferred to enable Ukraine to better defend itself against multiple russian attacks.
"And I would like to repeat this call and deepen it once again. We have heard about seven additional systems. One of them is ours. We still hope to find six more in the context of NATO, and I have again used this opportunity in many talks to convey this message", he stressed.
