This was reported by Espresso.
This was reported by Boston Dynamics on its website.
"This latest version of the Atlas robot builds on a long history of innovation, research and development that pushes the boundaries of whole-body mobility and bimanual manipulation", the company says.
The company emphasizes that new artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities will be implemented in the Atlas humanoid, and its trial operation will begin at Hyundai plants.
Boston Dynamics also notes that the project is commercial, but doesn't talk about its features or cost.
The report recalls that the last-generation Atlas hydraulic robot could lift as well as maneuver a spectrum of heavy, irregularly shaped objects. The company emphasizes that it continues to develop these capabilities and is exploring new gripper options to meet the different handling needs that customers may have.
- On October 27 last year, it became known that the famous robot dog from Boston Dynamics will now not only run and jump, but also talk. This became possible thanks to artificial intelligence technology.
