On April 17-19, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, will visit Italy to participate in the Group of Seven (G7) ministerial meeting.

It is also noted that Kuleba will take part in a special session dedicated to strengthening international support for Ukraine.

The minister will also hold a series of bilateral talks, in particular, with the heads of diplomacy of the UK, Italy, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, the US, the EU and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the key topics of the talks will be the urgent provision of additional Patriot batteries and other air defense systems to Ukraine to protect it from russian terror, counteracting cooperation between the russian and North Korean regimes, and the use of frozen russian assets to support Ukraine.

  • The day before, it was reported that russia's war in Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East would be among the main topics on the agenda of this week's meeting of G7 foreign ministers.
