Company scaling, reintegration of veterans, raising funds - the most important issues of Ukrainian business were discussed at the Business Wisdom Summit on April 10

More than 700 participants gathered at the Intercontinental Kyiv for intensive training, experience exchange, and live communication.

Managers of TERWIN, Ukrposhta, Kyivstar, Uklon, and other large companies shared their business leadership strategies. The summit was hosted by Oksana Guttsayt, host of ICTV's Fakty and the national marathon United News. He shared a case study of how Ukrposhta is becoming a support for Ukrainian citizens and businesses.

The panel discussion focused on the partnership between business and government: Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, Taras Vysotskyi, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Mykhailo Shelemba, CEO of Datagroup and Volia, Oleksandr Sokolovsky, founder of Textile-Contact Group, Pavlo Moroz, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at MHP. The moderator was Hanna Lichman, Ukrainian public figure and politician.

How to invest in development and transform business during the war, said Ruslan Shostak, President of TERWIN Corporation, co-owner of EVA and Varus. He shared his bold management decisions during an open interview with Serhiy Komberianov, President of Lean Institute Ukraine.

"Investment is the preservation of the country. In all of our companies, we have made a decision: we will invest all the money we have in Ukraine", Ruslan Shostak emphasized.

What are the main differences between the CEOs of peacetime and wartime, explained entrepreneur, investor, member of supervisory boards Dmytro Shymkiv. Iryna Shynkarenko, Deputy Chairman for Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations and Media, shared Epicenter's cases of supporting Ukrainian business. During the summit, Epicenter awarded the 20 best Ukrainian companies according to customers, emphasizing their importance and contribution to the country's economy.

Dmytro Dubrovsky, co-founder of UKLON, spoke about the goals, directions and strategy of volunteering for business. He advised companies to focus on one area of assistance, as this will help build a comprehensive approach. Dmytro emphasized that it is better to allocate a separate team for volunteer initiatives and pay great attention to promotions, as this is the most difficult part of the collection.

Adaptability is the main skill for a modern Ukrainian leader. What other skills to develop, how to make decisions and manage a team were discussed at the panel discussion: Oleksandr Blokhin, CEO of VBET Ukraine, Oleksandra Fursenko, CEO of Q Partners, Oleksandr Lapko, CEO of RozetkaPay payment service, Nadiya Gladkevych, co-owner of RENOME group of companies, Tetiana Avramenko, CEO and managing partner of VERANDA ON THE RIVER, FENIX. Moderated by Olena Derevianko, co-founder and partner of PR-Service Agency, Vice President of the Ukrainian PR-League. Anastasia Sokhina, Founder and CEO of SOHINA GLOBAL RECRUITMENT, shared recruiting tools that work in the modern labor market.

Oleksandra Prokhorchuk, Director of Attracting and Developing Relationships with Medium-Sized Business Clients at Raiffeisen Bank, shared insights on investments during the war at the Business Wisdom Summit. Svyatoslav Kuzmych, Director of International Business Department at UKREXIMBANK, provided trade finance tools for medium and large corporate businesses on the EximTradePro platform: Olena Zubchenko, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sense Bank, Volodymyr Dubey, Chairman of the Board of TASKOMBANK JSC, Serhiy Naumov, Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank, Andrey Semchenko, Corporate Business Director of INGO Insurance Company. Denys Sychkov, Investment Director at Horizon Capital, moderated the event. Marina Avdeeva, Co-owner of Arsenal Insurance, Founder of Easy Peasy Insurtech, told how businesses can survive and succeed through leadership, teamwork, and real values.
