Olha Stefanishyna, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, shared her forecasts on the approval of the negotiation framework for Ukraine's accession to the EU

This was reported by Katerina Galko, a correspondent for Espresso.

Stefanishyna noted that the Ukrainian government has clear agreements with European institutions and is focused on approving the framework for June.

"We have laid out a clear calendar of events, and therefore we are guided by the fact that the leaders will approve the negotiation framework in June, and next week I will be in Brussels for a meeting of foreign ministers who should make such a decision in June, so our forecasts are quite optimistic", she said.

The minister also noted that Ukraine is working with both countries that support our country on the path to European integration and those that have prejudices.

"First of all, we are working with the EU member states, and these are our supportive countries, as well as countries that have certain reservations. Recently, we held talks with Slovakia, and as a result of the talks, the prime ministers have an urgent request for consultations on supporting this proposal, we are also consulting with Hungary and have optimistic forecasts, but on the condition that we work at 100%", Stefanishyna said.
