The state commits to housing for all Heroes since 2014

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that every serviceman who received the title of Hero of Ukraine, as well as the family, if the Hero is awarded posthumously, will receive an apartment.

Zelensky announced this during his evening address.

"Every soldier and the family of a soldier who was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine will receive an apartment from the state. Not over the years, not sometime later, but now", - Zelenskyy said.

HHe noted that since the onset of the full-scale war, 360 defenders have been awarded the title of Heroes, 200 of them posthumously.

"Every soldier and the family of a soldier who was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine will receive an apartment from the state. Not over the years, not sometime later, but now", - Zelenskyy said.

We will remind you that the mother of Lieutenant Dmytro 'Da Vinci' Kotsiubailo received an apartment certificate. Kotsiubaylo had been actively involved in battles since 2014 at locations such as Savur-Mohyla, Peski, Belokamenka, Maryinka, Avdiivka, Zaitseve, Shchastia, ultimately dying from life-threatening injuries on March 7, 2023, in a battle near Bakhmut.
