Warsaw wants the EU to return the permit system that existed for Ukraine before the full-scale invasion

Polish authorities will appeal to the European Union to cancel the transport visa-free regime for Ukraine, which was introduced after the start of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki reports WNP.pl .

"We will very firmly and unequivocally demand the restoration of the system of transportation permits for Ukrainian trucks and Ukrainian drivers passing through and arriving in Poland. This system was in effect until the spring of 2022 and worked well, then it was changed by the European Commission, and today carriers are blocking the border", - Morawiecki said.

We remind you that since November 6, Polish carriers have been blocking the Polish-Ukrainian border, demanding the return of the control system that existed before the full-scale invasion.
