"The first project is an underground operating hospital, which will have all the necessary facilities and conditions to conduct surgical interventions. The design and estimate documentation has already been prepared, we have a positive expert report, and work is underway", Prokudin said.

It will also be possible to donate blood in Kherson region in a special room underground - work is underway to equip a blood center. According to the head of the region, people are constantly coming to donate vital fluid.

"Another hospital underground will also have wards for patients with infectious diseases with separate boxes, work is also underway there, repairing ventilation and others, the Kherson Red Cross is helping us with this, and the last project we are implementing is very important, it is an underground perinatal center, according to the already developed project, it provides for the organization of a maternity, prenatal operating room, postpartum wards, and more", said the head of the Kherson region.

Also, according to him, the region plans to create underground schools. It is designed to teach 450 students in one shift.
