MP Dmytro Shpenov Independently Resigns from His Parliamentary Mandate
Dmytro Shpenov has written a letter of resignation from his parliamentary seat
Non-factional MP Dmytro Shpenov has submitted a statement on early termination of his powers and resignation from the parliamentary mandate.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, announced this.
"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received a statement from Dmytro Yuriyovych Shpenov on the resignation of his deputy powers and early termination of his powers as a People's Deputy of Ukraine", - Stefanchuk wrote.
Stefanchuk also clarified that Shpenov's statement would be considered at the next plenary session.
Dmytro Shpenov was a member of the Parliament of several convocations. In 2019, he was elected to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by voters of Dnipropetrovska oblast in the 37th majority constituency.
It should be noted that on December 1, another MP, Maxim Efimov—who is also the owner of the Parkovy shopping center—submitted his resignation from the parliamentary mandate. He explained his decision by saying that he wanted to focus on helping his constituency in Kramatorsk.
