According to the political scientist, Vucic is trying to sway Serbian nationalists to his side with such statements on the eve of the election.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, during a talk show on the Serbian TV channel TV Happy, announced his intention to regain control over the territory of Kosovo and expressed support for US presidential candidate Donald Trump, hoping for his successful election. 

He also expressed his recognition and support for vladimir putin, and expressed his joy over Ukraine's failures on the military field.

Vucic expressed confidence in Serbia's ability to regain Kosovo using a strategy similar to that used by Azerbaijan, which waited for a favorable geopolitical moment before invading Nagorno-Karabakh. In particular, he cited the situation when Azerbaijan waited 27 years for the right circumstances to conduct a military operation.

"Let's be honest, most Serbian voters are nationalists, and when it comes to foreign policy, they like characters like putin and Trump. And here Vucic seems to be on their side, fighting against the pressure of the West - just a hero of the epic!" the political scientist added.
