Biden Signs Executive Order for New Military Assistance

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with US President Joe Biden as part of his working trip to the United States.

ABC News reported on the event.

At the beginning of the meeting, Joe Biden said that he had signed a decree to allocate an additional $200 million in military aid to Ukraine, but did not specify what exactly it included.

"I just signed a decision to allocate another $200 million by writing off the property of the Ministry of Defense for Ukraine. They will come quickly", - Biden said.

The US president emphasized that without Congress's approval of additional funding for Kyiv, it would effectively serve as a 'Christmas present' for putin.

In addition, Biden assured Zelenskyy that "the United States will stand by Ukraine', even if Republicans block the aid package.

It should be noted that some Republicans have stalled Biden's request for further aid to Ukraine in Congress.
