Commander Tarnavskyi told where the occupants are conducting offensive actions

Russian troops have launched an active offensive using aircraft and cluster bombs in the Avdiivka and Maryinka sectors.

This was reported by the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops, General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi.

"Two days ago, the enemy launched a massive offensive with the support of offensive vehicles in the Avdiivka and Maryinka sectors. They are actively using aviation. They are using guided aerial bombs.  In two days —19 air strikes. The offensive continues", Tarnavskyi said.

He clarified that over the past day, Ukrainian troops repelled 42 enemy attacks east of Novobakhmutivka, south of Severnoe and Tonenkoe and in the areas of Avdiivka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske.

"Forty-nine attacks were repelled in the Avdiivka sector the day before yesterday, 11 russian tanks and 15 other offensive vehicles were destroyed. Near Avdiivka, the occupants are trying to advance both in the north and in the south. The enemy is also active in the areas of Maryinka, Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka, where our defenders repelled 14 attacks yesterday", Tarnavskyi said.

As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that every serviceman who has been awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine, as well as the family if the Hero is awarded posthumously, will receive an apartment.
