An expensive diamond ring valued at €750,000, lost in the Ritz hotel in Paris, has been spectacularly recovered after it was discovered in a vacuum cleaner bag. The Malaysian guest who initially reported the jewel missing filed a complaint with police on Friday, claiming the ring disappeared from her room while she was out shopping.

On Sunday, representatives of the Ritz hotel announced that the ring was not stolen, but was found in an unusual way - in a vacuum cleaner bag. They said hotel staff conducted a meticulous search and discovered the jewel during the operation, reports Digi24.

The affected guests were informed of the recovery of the ring and their reaction was one of joy. The hotel stressed the professionalism and integrity of its staff, who mobilised to resolve this unusual situation.
