The Government has approved the allocation of the necessary sums for the expropriations that will allow the continuation of road infrastructure projects, with a focus on the Târgu Mureș - Târgu Neamț motorway.

According to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure's press release, the decisions were approved for investments in road infrastructure. Thus, the necessary amounts were approved for the expropriation of investment objectives, including "Sibiu - Pitesti Motorway" - section 3 Cornetu - Tigveni and "Târgu Mureș-Târgu-Neamț Motorway - section I: Târgu Mureș-Miercurea Nirajului, km 0 + 000-km 22 + 000 and connection to the A3 motorway (2.4 km)".

For the "Călinești Wildlife crossing" project on the "Sibiu - Pitești Motorway", an area of land of 14,143 sq.m is to be expropriated. The amount of compensation for the privately owned properties is 114,400 lei, which is allocated from the state budget.

Within the framework of the "Târgu Mureș-Târgu-Neamț Motorway" project, 1,193 buildings will have to be expropriated, with a total area of 3,410,333 sqm of land. The amount required for these expropriations is 13,898,130 lei, also allocated from the state budget.

In addition, the Executive adopted a decision on the technical-economic indicators for a new section of the Târgu Mureș - Târgu Neamț motorway, worth 37,482,387,000 lei.

These measures come in the context of efforts to develop road infrastructure to facilitate fast and safe connections between different regions of the country.
