A cannabis trafficking ring broken up in Buzău
Three men from Buzău have been arrested on charges of drug trafficking, including to teenagers, forming a criminal network which is believed to have started in July this year. A fourth man is under judicial control in the same case.
Investigators allege that between July and November, the three men repeatedly sold cannabis to consumers in Buzău county, including minors. As part of the evidence, on Tuesday, the suspects' homes were searched, resulting in the discovery of 160 grams of plant material, 3 grills, a scale, 6 mobile phones, and a sum of 2,400 lei, as well as other evidence, reports Digi24.
After the hearings, the three detained individuals will be presented before the judge of the Buzău Court with a proposal for preventive arrest for 30 days, while the fourth man is placed under judicial control.
The criminal network appears to have operated systematically, selling prohibited substances in exchange for between €450 and €1000 per case.
