Four people found dead after plane crash in western Austria
Austrian authorities have confirmed that four people have died after a small plane crashed in western Austria. The event took place near Grünau im Almtal in the state of Upper Austria. The plane, a single-engine Rockwell Commander 112B, had taken off from the Czech Republic and was on its way to the Croatian town of Medulin.
After the wreckage was discovered, search operations were launched in a snow-covered mountainous area, reports Agerpres. No information has yet been provided on the identity of the victims. Authorities will carry out an investigation to establish the circumstances of the crash.
