Renewable electricity generation capacity
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development announces that applications for funding for investments in new renewable electricity generation capacities for self-consumption by enterprises in the agricultural and food industry sector can be submitted from 20 November to 15 December 2023.
The total allocation for 2023 is €150 million, with €100 million for capacities below 1 MW and €50 million for capacities above 1 MW, according to jurnaldesustenabilitate.ro.
State aid is non-repayable and can reach €1,400,000/MW for wind energy and €1,000,000/MW for solar energy. Eligible beneficiaries include agricultural businesses, agricultural companies and land improvement organizations.
