UK provides winter military aid package to Ukraine's Armed Forces
Great Britain approved a new military aid package for Ukraine
London donates essential clothing and equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The UK has given the Ukrainian Armed Forces various clothing andessential equipment ahead of winter.
According to the UKMinistry of Defence , the Ukrainian army will receive:
- 82 thousand helmets;
- 25 thousand sets of winter clothing;
- 10,000 sets of body armour;
- 70 thousand dry rations.
The Ministry noted that this assistance will need the AFU during thewinter military campaign.
We shall remind you that on 3 November, the United States approved anew military aid package for Ukraine worth$425m. The country also allocated $300m from the Ukraine Security AssistanceInitiative (USAI) to strengthen Ukraine's air defence in the long term.
