Stoltenberg rejects criticism of counter-offensive developments
"Wars are by their very nature unpredictable. We will have good days and bad days, but we must stand with Ukraine in this battle, because supporting Ukraine is not an option, but a necessity to prevent authoritarian regimes from making gains by violating international law and using military force," Stoltenberg said.

The secretary-general rejected criticism of the evolution of the counter-offensive, insisting that military decisions should be made by Ukrainian commanders on the ground, not by external courts. He highlighted the impressive progress of the Ukrainian military, which is recovering about 100 meters a day of ground occupied by russian forces, reports Hotnews.ro.

In addition, Stoltenberg also addressed a recent incident in Romania, where debris was discovered that could belong to a russian drone. Despicting fears of a widening conflict, he said there was no information of an intentional russian attack and stressed the importance of a thorough investigation.

With the tense situation in the region, the international community is watching developments in Ukraine with attention and concern, and Stoltenberg's call reiterates the importance of solidarity and support for the Ukrainian state at this critical time.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg made a strong appeal to NATO allies to unreservedly support Ukraine in its fight against the russian offensive. In an address to the European Parliament, Stoltenberg stressed the difficulties of such a counter-offensive and the need to stand by Ukraine in good times and bad.
