Ukrainian Innovative Electric Stretchers: Formula for Success
Dmytro Mamonov, a displaced person from Sloviansk, became a pioneer in developing a device for evacuating injured military personnel from the battlefield. After moving to Zhytomyr, he created a medical evacuation chassis for the Ukrainian Armed Forces known as electric stretchers. These devices, based on the principles of ground-based drones, are designed for evacuating wounded soldiers from the combat zone. Combat medics and military personnel recognize the importance of this invention in wartime. Mamonov constantly consults with them, improving his invention. To enable mass production and meet the military's needs, he is seeking an investor.
As Mamonov mentioned in an interview with Ukrinform , his invention is realised by the formula "60-120-60," where 60 kg is the device's weight, 120 kg is its maximum load capacity, and 60 hours is the continuous operating time on a battery charge. Electric stretchers can move on tracks or wheels and can be compactly folded for storage in field conditions.
Mamonov spent about 70,000 UAH on the development and testing of prototypes. If mass production is initiated, the cost of electric stretchers is approximately 65,000 UAH. He is confident that such a device should be in every platoon, and its cost is significantly lower than a similar product like THeMIS .
To implement the project in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, only an investor is needed who will finance mass production and ensure the availability of electric stretchers for Ukrainian defenders.
